Paul Signer

Paul Signer (born December 4, 1955 ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ). He's since 2013 government of the canton Appenzell Outer Rhodes and was 2,017 to 2,019 Landammann (District President).

Life

Paul Signer attended primary and secondary school in Herisau and then the grammar school in St. Gallen . In 1979 he graduated from the University of Zurich , the teacher's diploma as a secondary school teacher Phil. I. He was a secondary school teacher in Rorschacherberg (1979–1983) and language teacher at the commercial school KV St. Gallen (1983–1991). In 1991 he became head of the Herisau vocational training center.

From 1993 to 2004 he was a member of the Herisau residents' council and was involved in the business audit and finance commission, most recently as its president. 2004 Signer Mayor of Herisau and 2009-2013 President of the community councils Conference of Appenzell Outer Rhodes. In 2007 he was elected to the Cantonal Council of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. From 2009 to 2013 he was Vice President of the Appenzell Ausserrhoden - St. Gallen - Lake Constance region .

He has been a member of the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden since 2013 and heads the finance department.
