Paul von Krause (District Administrator)

Paul Louis Eduard Krause , from 1913 von Krause (born March 15, 1882 in Königsberg in Prussia , † September 13, 1946 in Artern ) was the Prussian district administrator .

Life

He was the son of Paul von Krause (1852–1923), who was raised to the Prussian nobility in 1913 , and Vice President of the Prussian House of Representatives .

Krause studied at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1901 he became a member of the Corps Hasso-Borussia Freiburg . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. jur. he was a government trainee in Opole. In 1919 he became provisional district administrator of the Querfurt district in the Merseburg administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony and successor to Heinrich von Helldorff . He finally took over the office in 1920 and held it until 1927. He then became Vice President of the government in Opole . From 1928 until his dismissal in March 1933 he worked in Minden .
