Paulina Mary Jean Gretzky (born December 19, 1988 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American - Canadian singer , model and actress .

Life

Paulina Gretzky's parents are the former Canadian ice hockey player Wayne Gretzky , who at that time moved from the Edmonton Oilers to the Los Angeles Kings , and the American actress Janet Jones , who met in 1984 on the television show Dance Fever and in Edmonton in July 1988 got married. Paulina Gretzky has four younger siblings, three brothers and one sister.

At the NHL Heritage Classic 2003 , Gretzky sang for the first time in front of an audience at the age of 14. During her performance, she sang the song I Will Remember You by Sarah McLachlan in front of 57,167 viewers. Two years later she produced the song Collecting Dust for the television series Laguna Beach which was broadcast on MTV . The song was distributed via iTunes on July 26, 2006 and was available as an audio CD on February 2, 2010. In August 2005, at the age of 16, Gretzky was photographed as a cover girl for the Canadian fashion magazine Flare. In 2013, she was photographed again for the cover of this magazine.

In the 2000 short film In God We Trust , Gretzky played the role of Pink Girl . Nine years later she was in front of the camera for the dance film Fame . In 2010, she was in the reality series Pretty Wild on E! seen in the episode The Arrest . The series was discontinued after the first season. Gretzky was most recently in front of the camera in 2011 for the direct-to-DVD production Guns and Girls , which was released in 2012. She received a minor speaking role alongside Gary Oldman , Christian Slater and Helena Mattsson .

Paulina Gretzky is currently in a relationship with professional golfer Dustin Johnson . Their son was born in January 2015.
