Pauline Klaiber-Gottschau
Pauline Louise Karoline Klaiber-Gottschau (born October 30, 1855 in Frauenzimmern near Brackenheim , Württemberg , † September 12, 1944 in Stuttgart ) was a literary translator.
Life
Pauline was born as one of the 5 children of Pastor Dr. Karl Friedrich Klaiber-Gottschau (1817–1893) and his wife Pauline (1820–1870) were born. In 1918 she married Professor Dr. med. Max Gottschau (1849–1923) and lived with him in Würzburg . From 1925 until her death she lived in Stuttgart.
She translated fiction from Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and English.
