Career
Pavel Vorobyov began his career in 1997 at Molot-Prikamje Perm before moving to Lokomotive Yaroslavl , where he stayed for six seasons. In the 2000 NHL Entry Draft , the Chicago Blackhawks selected him in the first round in eleventh place. From 2003 to 2006 Vorobyov played with the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League . His next stops were Chimik Moskowskaja Oblast and HK Spartak Moscow , Severstal Tscherepowez and HK MWD Balaschicha . With the latter he reached the final of the Gagarin Cup in 2010 , when the HK MWD was defeated by Ak Bars Kazan .
In June 2010 he signed a contract with the new KHL member HK Budiwelnik Kiev, but the game did not start. After two years for Ugra in the KHL, Vorobyov left the club in May 2012 and moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk together with Yevgeny Blochin . For Neftechimik he completed 13 KHL games before moving to Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in January 2013 . At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he was under contract with HK Ryazan before he received a contract from HK Vitjas Podolsk in November .
