Pawel Widanow (also written Pavel Vidanov , Bulgarian Павел Виданов ; born January 8, 1988 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Career

society

Widanow began his career at CSKA Sofia , where he was brought into the first team in 2006. In his first season he came on two missions. ZSKA was runner-up. In 2007/08 he played on loan for one season with Wichren Sandanski , with whom he was able to reach tenth place. For the 2008/09 season he returned to Sofia and was runner-up again. In 2009/10 he made his debut at European club level. In the 3rd round for the Europa League qualification against Derry City on July 30, 2009 Widanow played through. The game was won 1-0. At the end of the championship, ZSKA was again second.

In the second half of 2010/11 Widanow was loaned to the Romanian club Rapid Bucharest , but could not prevail there. After returning to CSKA Sofia , he played a game in the Bulgarian league before being sold to the Polish first division club Zagłębie Lubin in early 2012 . For this he played a total of two years before he was briefly under contract for one season at Trapani Calcio . In 2015 Widanow returned to Poland and signed with Górnik Zabrze . After relegation in 2016 , he left the club again and joined the Bulgarian first division club Lokomotive Plovdiv . A year later he went to Beroe Stara Sagora . For the 2018/19 season he played for Slavia Sofia for six months . But after only one league use Widanow moved to FK Atlantas Klaipėda in Lithuania during the winter break .

National team

Widanov played five games for the Bulgarian national team. He made his debut on August 12, 2009 in the friendly international match against Latvia , when he came on in the 73rd minute. The game was won 1-0.
