Peerakiat Siriluethaiwattana ( Thai : พี ระ เกียรติ ศิริ ฤทัย วัฒนา ; born August 16, 1989 in Kamphaeng Phet ) is a former Thai tennis player .

Career

Peerakiat Siriluethaiwattana was already successful on the junior tour. In 2007 he took part in all four Grand Slams, with his best result being the third round of the US Open . His best placement in the world rankings for juniors was a combined 42nd place in January 2007. In 2004, Peerakiat played his first tournament on the professional tour. He was mainly active on the third class ITF Future Tour and the second class ATP Challenger Tour . In his career he was able to win a future title in doubles.

Peerakiat made his debut on the ATP World Tour in 2007 in Bangkok . He qualified as a lucky loser for the individual field and lost to Simon Stadler in the first round . In the following years he played exclusively in the main fields of the Future and Challenger Tour, where he was mostly eliminated in the first or second round. It wasn't until 2012 that he was back in the main draw of an ATP World tournament. In Bangkok he received a wildcard for the individual field and met a German again in the first round. Against Philipp Petzschner , he also had no chance and was eliminated after his opening match. His last game was in 2014 at a Future tournament in Thailand. His best placement in singles was a 705th place, in doubles he achieved a 567th place.

From 2009 to 2011 Peerakiat played for the Thai Davis Cup team . He only played singles and won two of his five games.
