Peiroos (mythology)
Peiroos or Peiros ( Greek Πείροος, Πείρως ) is a figure in Greek mythology .
Peiroos is a Thracian and son of Imbrasos from Ainos . Together with Akamas he leads the Thracians who fight as allies on Troy's side in the Trojan War . He kills Diores and is himself defeated by the Aitolian hero Thoas .
Perhaps Peiroos is identical to Peires , a Thracian and father of the Rhigmos .
