Pele Broberg

Pele Broberg (* 1972 ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Partii Naleraq ), pilot and entrepreneur .

Life

Pele Broberg grew up in Qeqertarsuaq . From 1992 he attended the GUX in Aasiaat . In 1995 he became a pilot at the Scandinavian Airlines flight academy . He flew for Air Greenland until 1997, then was a pilot with Aviation Assistance and then returned to Air Greenland as a flight captain until 2014 . From 2006 to 2013 he was also the owner of the Barista ApS company . From 2015 to 2016 he had his own airline, Aluu Airlines , which never flew. Before that, he had received further training at the Copenhagen Business School . In 2016 he was a consultant at the Bristow Group . In 2017, he again specialized in international business at Copenhagen Business School. Pele Broberg is a board member of the Greenland-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce and vice chairman of Halibut Greenland, as well as chairman of the Sakkut business association and the sports shop Pikkori Sport .

Pele Broberg took part in the 2018 parliamentary election and was elected to the Inatsisartut . He was then appointed finance minister at Naalakkersuisut . In September 2018, the Partii Naleraq left the Kielsen III cabinet and Pele Broberg resigned as minister. He ran for the Folketing Elections in 2019 and took a leave of absence during the election campaign in parliament. He received 863 votes and thus missed a seat in the Folketing .

He has a daughter and a son with his wife Malene.
