Perak Open

The Perak Open is a high-level international badminton tournament in Malaysia . They are one of the oldest international championships in Asia and have been held since 1931. The organizer is the Perak Badminton Association . Until the 1960s, the Perak Open were often the meeting place for the world's best in badminton. With the incorporation of Perak into the all-Malaysian badminton association and the increasing globalization and commercialization of badminton, the title fights lost their international importance.
