Pertain is a commune déléguée in the northern French commune of Hypercourt with 390 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Somme department in the Hauts-de-France region . The inhabitants are called Pertinois or Pertainais.

history

Several Gallo-Roman country houses have been found around Pertain . The place was first mentioned in 1116. She received the Croix de guerre 1914–1918 as an award .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Hyencourt-le-Grand , Omiécourt and Pertain were merged and have since formed the Commune nouvelle Hypercourt . The municipality of Pertain belonged to the Arrondissement Péronne and the canton of Nesle .
