Pete Julian
Pete Julian (actually Peter Julian; * 11. May 1971 ) is a former American long-distance runner and track and field - coach .
At the World Cross Country Championships in Turin in 1997 , he came 86th. In 1998 in Marrakech he finished 89th in the long distance.
In 1999 he won over 10,000 m bronze at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg and finished 22nd at the World Athletics Championships in Seville .
In 2001 he finished 19th in the Chicago Marathon and in 2002 he was sixth in the Pittsburgh Marathon .
In 2012 he became a trainer at the Nike Oregon Project under Alberto Salazar , who was banned for four years in 2019 for doping violations . There he looks after Konstanze Klosterhalfen and Donavan Brazier, among others .
