Peter Antony Moran

Peter Antony Moran (born April 13, 1935 in Glasgow ) is the Former Bishop of Aberdeen .

Life

Peter Antony Moran was ordained a priest on March 19, 1959 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Glasgow . He was later incardinated in the clergy of the Diocese of Aberdeen . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Aberdeen on October 13, 2003.

The Archbishop of Glasgow , Mario Joseph Conti , donated him episcopal ordination on December 1 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Michael George Bowen , Archbishop of Southwark , and Joseph Devine , Bishop of Motherwell .

On June 4, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
