Peter Bauer (politician)
Peter Bauer (born March 10, 1949 in Schönwald / Upper Franconia ) is a German local and state politician ( free voters ). Since 2008 he has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
Life
After graduating from Kepler-Gymnasium in Weiden , he studied pharmacy for two years and until 1979 chemistry , biology and dentistry as a Konrad-Adenauer-scholarship holder at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität in Erlangen . In 1980 he received his doctorate from the Institute for Forensic Medicine at the University of Erlangen. med. dent. Then he was an academic adviser at the dental and jaw clinic in Erlangen . He has been an independent dentist since 1982 . Through a scientific project of the United Nations , he completed his habilitation in 1989/1990 at the Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal in Lima / Peru, where he was professor of odontology.
Bauer joined the Free Voters in 1987 and was a local councilor in Saxony near Ansbach for twelve years , including six years as deputy mayor. In the state elections in 2008 he ran in the district of Ansbach-Nord and was elected to the state parliament via the district list of Middle Franconia . In the state elections on September 15, 2013 and October 14, 2018 , he was re-elected from the constituency list of Middle Franconia and received the most votes from all Franconian FW candidates.
He is the spokesman for nursing, "franc speaker" and a member of the committee for health and nursing in the Bavarian state parliament of the Free Voters parliamentary group . On November 27, 2018, MP Markus Söder appointed him provisionally as "Patient and Nursing Officer of the Bavarian State Government". Bauer is also deputy district chairman of the Bavarian Red Cross in the KV Ansbach.
After the Bavarian state election in 2018, Peter Bauer became a member of the seven-person exploratory and coalition negotiation team for the Free Voters in order to negotiate for a coalition of the CSU and Free Voters.
Peter Bauer is a Roman Catholic, married, has a son and a grandson.
