The Ansbach-Nord electoral district is one of around 90 electoral districts in elections to the Bavarian State Parliament and the district meetings as well as in referendums . He belongs to the constituency of Middle Franconia .

At least since the state elections in 2008, it has included the independent city of Ansbach and the cities of Feuchtwangen , Heilsbronn , Leutershausen , Rothenburg ob der Tauber , Schillingsfürst , Windsbach and the communities of Adelshofen , Aurach , Buch a.Wald , Bruckberg , Colmberg , Diebach , Dietenhofen , Dombühl , Flachslanden , Gebsattel , Geslau , Insingen , Lehrberg , Lichtenau , Neuendettelsau , Neusitz , Oberdachstetten , Jungsbach , Petersaurach , Rügland , Saxony near Ansbach , Schnelldorf , Schopfloch , Steinsfeld , Weihenzell , Wettringen , Windelsbach and Wörnitz in the Ansbach district . The other communities in this district are in the district of Ansbach-Süd, Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .
