Klaus Dieter Breitschwert (born April 21, 1943 in Ansbach ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ). From 1992 to 2013 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

biography

Breitschwert was born in Ansbach as the son of an entrepreneurial family that has been running a car dealership since 1945.

From 1972 to 2013 Klaus Dieter Breitschwert was city ​​councilor in Ansbach. From 1978 to 1990 and from 1996 to 2008 he was honorary mayor under the mayors Ernst-Günther Zumach and Ralf Felber . In 1990 he ran for the office of mayor, but was defeated by the SPD candidate Ralf Felber.

In 1992 he replaced the late MP Heinz Leschanowsky in the Bavarian state parliament. In 1994 he was elected to the Bavarian state parliament via the Central Franconian district list. From 1973 to 2012 Klaus Dieter Breitschwert was a member of the state board of the SME Union of the CSU, from 1975 to 2012 as deputy state chairman.
