Peter Bossard

Peter Bossard (born March 10, 1938 in Cham ; † September 27, 2001 in Zug ; entitled to live there ) was a Swiss entrepreneur and politician ( FDP ).

Life

Peter Bossard trained as a businessman in Zug, Great Britain, France, the USA and Zurich. In 1956 he joined the family business Carl Bossard Eisenhandlung , of which he was a member of the board of directors from 1973 to 2001 and was chairman from 1977.

From 1971 to 1986 he was a member of the large municipal council of the city of Zug, which he also presided over in 1983/84. From 1987 to 1994 he was a cantonal councilor . From 1995 he was a Councilor of the Canton train and was the Department of the Interior before. In 2001 he was governor, d. H. Deputy President of the Government Council.

Bossard was killed in the attack in Zug by Friedrich Leibacher .
