Peter Cincotti
Peter Cincotti (born July 11, 1983 in New York ) is an American songwriter, singer and pianist.
biography
Cincotti received his first piano lessons at the age of four. At the age of seven he was discovered by Harry Connick, Jr. during a show in Atlantic City . During his high school time in the Horace Mann School in Riverdale and in the Columbia College in New York City , he appeared regularly in the jazz clubs of Manhattan on. At the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2000 he won a prize for his interpretation of the Dizzy Gillespie title A Night in Tunisia . In 2002 he was the youngest solo artist to reach first place on the Billboard Traditional Jazz Charts.
With his fourth album East of Angel Town and the released single Goodbye Philadelphia , Peter Cincotti became known in Central Europe in November 2007.
In May 2012 the fifth album Metropolis was released . In 2012 he presented the musical How Deep Is The Ocean with his sister Pia Cincotti . Cincotti has also been heard by other musicians in recent years, such as B. Renee Olstead and Simona Molinari .

Filmography
Cincotti had a small supporting role in Beyond the Sea - Music was his life from Kevin Spacey . He was also involved in the soundtrack. He had another film role in Spider-Man 2 as a pianist in the planetarium. In 2007 he sang the title track for the Daniel Radcliffe film December Boys . In the third season of the US series House of Cards , Cincotti played himself during a state reception for the Russian President in the White House .
