Peter Ebinger

Peter Georg Ebinger (born October 10, 1958 ; † August 24, 2015 ) was an Austrian dressage rider .

Life

Ebinger took part in international championships for Austria several times and was Austrian national champion twice. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he reached the Grand Prix with malachite to 29th place (for the decision in the Grand Prix Spécial be qualified only the best 12 starters pairs), together with Elisabeth Max-Theurer / Acapulco and Christa angle / Richelieu brought he finished ninth in the Austrian team. Peter Ebinger was trained by Georg Wahl during this time .

Ebinger's last Grand Prix horse was the dark brown Holstein gelding Joker, born in 1997 . Both of them competed in their last international tests at the Amadeus Horse Indoors Salzburg in October 2009. Peter Ebinger ran a dressage stable in Kaumberg in Lower Austria, most recently the Russian dressage rider Jelena Sidnewa , who also took part in the Olympic Games, had her horses on his facility.

On August 24, 2015, Peter Ebinger died of complications from cancer. He was buried in the Hietzinger Friedhof in Vienna.
