Peter Gröbner (lawyer)

Peter Gröbner (born December 28, 1914 in Innsbruck , † July 1, 1972 in Greiling ) was a German lawyer and politician, and a member of the Bavarian Senate .

After studying law and economics and doing military service, Gröbner entered the Bavarian civil service in 1941. In 1946 he was elected district administrator for the Bad Tölz district. At that time he was the youngest district administrator in Bavaria. He held this office for ten years. He was initially independent, then later a member of the CSU. In 1956 he became a consultant in the municipal department at the State Ministry of the Interior , and in the following year he became deputy chief executive of the German district assembly in Bonn . From 1959 he was managing director, from 1966 first chairman of the Bavarian Municipal Assembly . He was also a member of the Presidium of the German Municipal Assembly, was chairman of the administrative board of the Bavarian Self-Administration College and sat in the Bavarian working group for questions of constitutional reform and the reorganization of the federal territory. From the beginning of 1970 until his death he was a member of the Bavarian Senate. In 1965 he received the Bavarian Order of Merit .
