Aigra Nova is a Portuguese village in the municipality ( Freguesia ) and in the district ( concelho ) of Góis .
It is one of the traditional slate villages in the region, and belongs to the nationally advertised route of the Aldeias do Xisto . Hiking trails connect them.
Every year on the Sunday after July 13th, the village festival Santo António da Neve takes place here.
One of the project shops is located in Aigra Nova, Lojas Aldeias do Xisto .
