Talasnal is a Portuguese village in the municipality ( Freguesia ) of Casal de Ermio , in the district ( concelho ) of Lousã .

It is located in the Serra da Lousã together with the villages of Chiqueiro and Casal Novo . All three villages belong to the route of the traditional slate villages of the region, the Aldeias do Xisto .

Hiking trails connect the places and lead through the wooded mountain landscape, which is crossed by rivers. From the high Talasnal you have wide views, also over the surrounding other slate villages.

Some dropouts have settled in Talasnal, some of which have also opened small restaurants and hostels in the rural tourism .
