Aigra Velha is a Portuguese village in the municipality ( Freguesia ) and in the district ( concelho ) of Góis .
It is one of the traditional slate villages in the region, and belongs to the nationally advertised route of the Aldeias do Xisto . Hiking trails connect them.
Old small farmers still live in the village who produce traditional products such as chestnut honey and goat cheese and sell them for sale. Dealing with visitors is still impartial and natural, as there is no mass tourism.
