Peter Heidinger

Peter F (riedrich) Heidinger (born April 11, 1927 in Stuttgart ) is a German engineer and energy manager.

Life

Peter Heidinger studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Stuttgart and was awarded a Dr.-Ing. PhD . He was later an honorary professor at the University of Stuttgart at the Institute for Energy Transmission and High Voltage Technology .

Heidinger is the former chairman of the board of the Energie -versorgung Schwaben AG (EVS) , now part of EnBW .

He was chairman of the board of the Association of the Electricity Industry (VDEW) , in 1992 he became an honorary member of the VDEW. He was also a corresponding member of the Research Association for Electrical Systems and Power Management in Mannheim.

Heidinger has been a member of the Catholic student union AV Alania Stuttgart in the CV since 1947 .

Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem

In 1972 Peter Heidinger was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Maximilien Cardinal de Fürstenberg and on December 9, 1972 in the Aachen Imperial Cathedral by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy, and Hermann Josef Abs , Lieutenant in Germany, invested. He is a Grand Cross Knight of the order. He was appointed Honorary Governor of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem in Germany.

As the successor to Johannes Binkowski, he was governor of the German Lieutenancy of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem from 1991 to 1999. He has received several awards for his commitment to numerous social projects in the Holy Land .
