Peter Iver Johannsen (born December 29, 1943 in Flensburg ) was Secretary General of the Bund Deutscher Nordschleswiger , the umbrella organization of the German minority in Denmark , from 1973 to 2008 .

Life and work

Peter Iver Johannsen graduated after passing the High School on Old School Flensburg and a practical agricultural training studying for diploma - farmer in Kiel and Copenhagen , which he completed in 1969 in Copenhagen with the state examination. From 1969 to 1971 Johannsen worked as a consultant at the Central Association of Danish Cooperative Slaughterhouses in Copenhagen, from 1971 to 1973 as a consultant at the main agricultural association for North Schleswig in Aabenraa .
