Peter Kang U-il
Peter Kang U-il ( kor. 강우일 , born October 12, 1945 in Seoul , South Korea ) is Bishop of Cheju .
Life
Peter Kang U-il received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Seoul on December 9, 1974 through Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan .
On 21 December 1985 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Roman Catholic Diocese of Balecium and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Seoul. The Archbishop of Seoul, Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan, donated him episcopal ordination on February 14, 1986 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Daejeon , Joseph Kyeong Kap-ryong , and the auxiliary bishop in Seoul, Paul Kim Ok-kyun . On July 20, 2002, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Cheju.
