Peter Krassa (born October 29, 1938 in Vienna , † October 11, 2005 in Vienna) was an Austrian author of para-scientific literature.

Life

Peter Krassa was born in Vienna on October 29, 1938. The future writer initially planned to become a conductor. He later attended drama school, but ultimately learned to be a bank clerk. He made his first literary experiences with the Kinderpost , an Austrian newspaper for children.

He first came into contact with the pre-astronautics thesis in the 1950s through a newspaper article about the kappas , the description of which reminded him of space travelers . In the early 1980s, together with Reinhard Habeck , he developed the hypothesis, first published in 1982, that electricity should have been used in ancient Egypt . Some of the objects depicted in the Hathor temple in Dendera were a kind of luminous element (popular name: light bulbs from Dendera ). Later, Krassa made three trips to China in order to be able to see the pyramids with a lot of patience, according to him. Here he worked a lot with Hartwig Hausdorf , who was later to be primarily responsible for the popularity of the pyramids of Xi'an.

Peter Krassa was a member of the Research Society for Archeology, Astronautics and SETI until his death , where he promoted new journalists. During a meeting of the association in Fulda in 2004, he fell so unhappily when stepping on the stage that he did not recover even after an operation. His books have been translated into 17 languages.
