Viktor Farkas

Viktor Stefan Farkas (born May 30, 1945 in Vienna ; † November 1, 2011 in Vienna) was an Austrian journalist and author . In his books he mostly dealt with borderline scientific topics, pre-astronautics and controversial anomalies. He supported conspiracy theories and the assumption of the existence of paranormal phenomena as well as the reality of UFOs or the Mothman .

Farkas was a member of Mensa Austria, the Concordia Press Club and the Austrian Journalists Club, among others . On the occasion of the Orwell year 1984 he wrote the first German SF quiz book. Some of his works have also appeared in Czech .

Viktor Farkas was buried in the cemetery of the Simmering fire hall (section E19, number 458).
