Peter Löscher (theater director)
Peter Löscher (* 1938 in Dresden ) is a German theater director who was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen three times in the 1970s with productions .
Löscher staged many classics and current plays on almost all of the major German theaters and was a visiting professor at various universities and academies, for example in Gießen in 1988.
The play Purgatory by Ariel Dorfman was premiered under his direction in 2003 at the Hamburger Kammerspiele . Daniel Karasek wrote the play Mord am Mondsee for Peter Löscher.
Löscher teaches directing at the Hamburg Theater Academy .
