Peter Lampert
Peter Lampert (born September 23, 1951 in Vaduz ; † July 4, 2015 in Chur ) was a Liechtenstein politician and from 2001 to 2013 a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein .
biography
Lampert worked as a self-employed paver . In 1978 he founded a shop for wall and floor coverings in Vaduz .
In 2001 he was elected to the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the first time in the Oberland constituency for the progressive citizens' party . In the 2005 and 2009 elections he was able to defend his mandate and was re-elected. He did not run for the state elections in February 2013 .
In addition to his professional and political activities, he was involved in mountain rescue and avalanche service. In 1972 he was one of the co-founders of the Principality's avalanche service and was its director until 2011. Also in 1972 he joined the Liechtenstein mountain rescue service and was a member until his death. Lampert headed the mountain rescue for 21 years. In addition, he had been a member of the Liechtenstein Alpine Club since 1971, was a member of its board from 1980 to 2001 and was ultimately awarded honorary membership.
Lampert was married and had two children.
