Peter Mullins (athlete)
Peter Mullins ( Peter Morgan Mullins; born July 9, 1926 in Bondi , † April 13, 2012 in Sydney ) was an Australian decathlete . After emigrating to Canada , he was a basketball player and coach.
At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 he was sixth with the national record of 6739 points (6334 points in today's rating).
In 1949 he became Australian champion in high jump and in 1950 in shot put .
At the Basketball World Cup in 1959 , he was part of the Canadian team. From 1963 to 1982 he was a basketball coach at the University of British Columbia .
