Peter Neckermann

Peter Neckermann (born March 17, 1842 in Hemmersheim , † October 1, 1902 in Würzburg ) was a German master butcher and member of the Reichstag in the German Empire .

Life

Neckermann attended school in Hemmersheim and passed the master's examination with a grade of one when he was 20 years old. In 1867 he started his own business. For many years he was a board member of the butcher's guild, a member of the municipal council of the city of Würzburg, and a member of the trade tax committee.

From 1890 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Lower Franconia 6 ( Würzburg ) and the German Center Party .

He was the grandfather of Josef Neckermann .
