Peter Petran (actor)

Peter Petran (born February 9, 1912 in the Frankenstein district , Silesia , † unknown) was a German actor .

Life

Petran learned his trade at a Berlin drama school before making his stage debut in Lübeck. Engagements in Potsdam, Wilhelmshaven, Rostock, Braunschweig and Hanover followed. In the 1950s, Petran also directed a touring stage.

Petran became known to a wider audience through numerous roles in television productions, both large and small. He played in Theodor Kotulla's drama From a German Life , in Egon Monk's multi-part series Die Geschwister Oppermann based on Lion Feuchtwanger and in Eberhard Fechner's drama A Chapter for Himself based on Walter Kempowski .

In addition, he took on numerous guest roles in series such as Tatort , Ein Fall für TKKG , Sonderdezernat K1 and Die Schöne Marianne . Petran also worked as a decorator.
