Hans-Peter Schubert (born June 14, 1966 in Neckarsulm ) is a German football coach .

Coaching career

Schubert was junior coordinator at SK Sturm Graz from 2002 to 2005 . In the 2005/06 season he worked as an assistant coach at FC Admira Mödling. After relegation he was in the following 2006/07 season at the Grazer AK fitness coach. In January 2008 he came to VfB Lübeck and was head coach there at the beginning of the 2008/09 season . In 2009 and 2010 he won the SHFV-Pokal with VfB and thus twice secured participation in the DFB-Pokal . In the DFB-Pokal 2009/10 , Schubert managed as a fourth division team to defeat the then first division club 1. FSV Mainz 05 with a 2-1 win after extra time and move into the second round of the cup with VfB. On November 7, 2011 Schubert resigned after eight games without a win from his contract, which ran until 2013.

After Ralf Aussem's dismissal in September 2012, he took over as interim trainer at Alemannia Aachen. René van Eck took over on September 10, 2012 . Schubert returned to the Alemannia reserve, which he had looked after since July 2012. On June 3, 2013 Schubert became the new head coach. His assistant is the former Alemannia professional, Reiner Plaßhenrich . On May 17, 2015, Schubert announced his resignation as head coach of Alemannia Aachen at the end of the season and is leaving Alemannia after three years. Christian Benbennek was his successor .

On July 1, 2016, Schubert became sporting director at Eutin 08 .
