Peter Sellin

Peter Sellin (born May 6, 1949 in Marl ) is a German politician . From February 18, 1987 until his resignation on February 20, 1989, he was a member of the German Bundestag in Berlin . He was sent to the Bundestag by the Berlin House of Representatives , where he belonged to the Greens parliamentary group .

Life

Sellin attended commercial school after secondary school and completed an apprenticeship as a banker. He then studied business administration and economics. After graduating with a degree in economics, he studied business education and graduated as a business teacher. He passed the second state examination and became a vocational school teacher at a commercial high school center. There he taught economics and social studies. Later he was still an employee in the office of the Bundestag member Christine Scheel . Sellin was a member of the Education and Science Union .

politics

In 1978, Sellin was a founding member of the Berlin Alternative List, which in 1980 became the State Association of the Greens as the Alternative List for Democracy and Environmental Protection . In 1981 Sellin moved into the Berlin House of Representatives for this party , to which he was a member until 1983. In the 1987 Bundestag election , he was sent to the Bundestag by the Berlin House of Representatives, from which he resigned on February 20, 1989 as agreed, in order to have German Meneses Vogl move into the Bundestag. He was a full member of the Committee for Economics and a deputy member of the Finance Committee and the Committee for Internal German Relations.
