Peter Teuschel
Peter Teuschel (born November 21, 1959 in Deggendorf ) is a German psychiatrist and psychotherapist as well as the author of several non-fiction books on the subjects of bullying , family and psychiatry / psychotherapy.
Life
Teuschel was born in Deggendorf and grew up in Munich . After studying medicine in Munich (Dr. med.), He completed specialist training as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Munich and Augsburg . From 1993 to 1996 he was chief physician at the Inzell-Eck psychiatric clinic. He has been based in Munich since 1996.
In his books he deals with the medical and social backgrounds and consequences of bullying in the workplace (“Mobbing”), at school (“ Bullying ”) and in the family (“The Black Sheep”). In addition, the transgenerational transmission of experiences is the subject of his consideration (“The ancestor factor”). He explores the boundaries between “normal” and “sick” in the narrative non-fiction book “The man who fell in love with the zebra woman”. The book has been translated into Korean.
Teuschel blogs on “ Schräglage ” mainly on psychiatric and psychological topics. He is also the author of the Ullstein book publishers' blog "Resonanzboden" and the initiator and author of the page "The earth is not a disc".
