NGC 5673 is a 12.9 mag barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Bear Guardian and about 99 million light years from the Milky Way.
It was discovered on May 15, 1787 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "pB, S, E".
