NGC 5678 is a bar-spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble-type SAB (rs) b in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 92 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on April 17, 1789 by William Herschel .
