NGC 5670 is a 12.0 mag bright lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Wolf and about 123 million light years from the Milky Way.

It was discovered on July 1, 1834 by John Herschel with an 18-inch reflector telescope, which during two observations “vF, S, LE, between 2 stars 13 and 14m, forming the northern side of a trapezium of four stars; one of the others is 8th mag. ”and“ vF, E, between 2 stars and has a large star Sp ”.
