Peter Udo Bintz

Peter Udo Bintz (born July 23, 1937 - † October 11, 2007 ) was a German publisher and editor .

Life

Bintz studied at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and was born in 1969 with the work Customer orientation as an organizational problem. Shown using the example of the newspaper advertisement , PhD at the Faculty of Economics . He joined the publishing house Pressehaus Bintz-Verlag GmbH & Co. KG, publisher of the " Offenbach-Post ", founded by his father Udo Bintz in 1947 .

Bintz was involved in various voluntary work, among other things as a sponsor of the Frankfurt Opera and a member of the donors' meeting of the " Einhard Foundation in Seligenstadt " as well as for interests of the newspaper industry. For 36 years he was a member of the administrative board and the advisory board as well as the finance commission for the German press supply , most recently as chairman of the pension commission and on the board of the aid association of the German press. Bintz was a member of the board of the Association of Hessian Newspaper Publishers VNZV in Bad Vilbel and was thus a member of the delegates' assembly of the Federal Association of German Newspaper Publishers (BDZV for short). He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the “Freedom of the Press” foundation .
