Peter Uray

Peter Uray (born January 11, 1939 in Schärding ) is an Austrian actor. He was best known for his role as "district chairman" in the well-known television series Kaisermühlen Blues .

Career

Peter Uray grew up in Bad Radkersburg, Styria, and completed his acting training at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz . After compulsory school, he trained as a telecommunications fitter at VÖEST .

As a theater actor, he was seen in Baden , Klagenfurt , Linz , Salzburg and Graz, among others, before he was engaged at the Vienna Volkstheater from 1983–2001 . He took part in the Bregenz Festival several times. Felix Dvorak also brought him to his festivals in Berndorf and Mödling. From 1980 to 1995 Uray was a lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz . A wider audience was he for his role as "District Director" in the television series Kaisermühlen Blues by Ernst Hinterberger known.
