Peter von Sassen (born January 12, 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German television journalist and television presenter .

Life

Peter v. Sassen was born in Hamburg , attended elementary school and grammar school there and graduated from the Emilie-Wüstenfeld grammar school . He later studied German and theater studies in the Hanseatic city . During my studies I came into contact with the NDR and the then head of the regional program.

Peter v. Sassen has been traveling the polar regions of the Arctic and Antarctic for 20 years and after working for NDR he worked as a lecturer for polar history on expedition cruise ships of various shipping companies and companies .
