Hallo Niedersachsen is the regional magazine of the North German Broadcasting Corporation for the state of Lower Saxony .

The television program provides information about political and cultural life as well as special events in Lower Saxony. Sports in Lower Saxony and local stories from Lower Saxony are also topics of the program. Often there is a conversation with a studio guest on a current topic on Sunday.

Hello Lower Saxony is broadcast live every day - except on certain public holidays (Easter, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Eve) - at 7:30 p.m. on NDR television . Repetitions run the following day at 3:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on NDR television and on Radio Bremen TV . The broadcast can be received terrestrially, via cable and digitally via satellite. The repetition of Hallo Niedersachsen on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. is canceled once a month and was first replaced by the program Plattdüütsch : Frühschoppen with Ludger Abeln , now by Hallo Niedersachsen op Platt with Vanessa Kossen.

The moderation of the show changes on a weekly basis.

history

The regional magazine was introduced on October 1, 1985 and initially ran in the regional program on First German Television . In January 1993 the program switched from the first program to the third television program N3. From January 2007 to September 2010 the main edition of Lower Saxony was called 19.30. The 15-minute output at 6 p.m. has been called Lower Saxony 6 p.m. since 2007 . It is currently moderated by Sandrine Harder, Tina Hermes , Ines Niemann and Antje Wöhnke alternately. Hallo Niedersachsen has been broadcast in HD since May 9, 2015. The 10,000th episode aired on May 5, 2017.
