Tina Hermes (née Zemmrich) (born March 12, 1982 in Freiberg ) is a German journalist , author and television presenter .

Life

Tina Hermes grew up in Sayda in the Ore Mountains and started cross-country skiing at an early age . In her youth she attended the sports boarding school in Oberwiesenthal . In the sport of roller skiing , she became German champion and won World Cup gold in the team competition.

She studied German , psychology and applied linguistics at the University of Siegen and now lives with her family in Hanover .

Moderation

She worked for many years as a radio presenter, a. a. for the HR , MDR and Radio Siegen .

Since 2012 she has hosted the news program Lower Saxony 6 p.m. on NDR television . She also works as a reporter for ARD and NDR .

Author

She repeatedly creates longer documentations and reports . In 2012 she accompanied drug investigators in Hanover for weeks. In 2013 and 2014 she observed the life of released lynxes in the Harz for a year . Your one-hour report on " Linden ", a district of Hanover, was the subject of regional controversy.

Award

In 2011 she received a special prize at the Bremen TV Prize for her film "The day when the rain came".
