Annika de Buhr (born April 1, 1972 in Hanover ) is a German journalist , television presenter and speaker .

Career

Annika de Buhr is the oldest of four children.

After graduating from the Albert Schweitzer School in 1991 in Nienburg / Weser , she studied political science and German at the Universities of Oldenburg and Hanover . Her career began in 1988 when she responded to a call from Radio NDR 1 Lower Saxony that was looking for European reporters. They made off with a press agency independently , then worked for the NDR , the Neue Presse , the Hannoversche Allgemeine , Spiegel TV , the news channel XXP in Berlin and VOX . Between 2005 and 2009 she led the news programs today , today - in Germany and tonight on ZDF and 3sat .

From 2006 to 2011 she also moderated in vivo - the magazine of the German Cancer Aid on Focus Health . From 2015 to 2016 she worked for the NDR as an external presenter of the program Mein Afternoon and since 2016 she has moderated the news in the Nordmagazin . After the start of the new Kabel eins Doku television channel on September 22, 2016, she hosted the program Das Doku Magazin - Understanding More Every Day until December 19, 2017 .

Annika de Buhr is the sister of Hannes de Buhr (Yu), the guitarist of the now defunct band Cinema Bizarre . Since July 2010 she has had a son with the publisher Jan Weitendorf. They live separated.
