The Petkov-Nunatak ( Bulgarian Петков нунатак Petkov nunatak ) is a 800 m high and rocky Nunatak in the south of Trinity Peninsula of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It projects in the western part of the Sawera snow field 6.9 kilometers southwest of the Rajko-nunataks , 15.32 km north-northwest of Mount Wild , 2.73 km north of the Chuma-nunataks and 7.11 km east to the north of the Lobosh peak in the northeastern foothills of the Detroit Plateau .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after the Bulgarian geologist Nikola Petkow (* 1951), who was active in several campaigns at the St. Kliment-Ohridski station from 1995 .
