Petra Friedrich

Petra Friedrich (* 1973 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Friedrich studied medicine and taught anatomy at the University of Vienna . She then completed an acting course at the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna, which she graduated in 2001. Her first engagement at the Volkstheater Vienna was followed by permanent engagements at the Landesbühne Hannover and at the Schlosstheater Celle . Petra Friedrich spent many summer months in the festival venues of Hanover- Herrenhausen and the Feuchtwangen cloister games .

Petra Friedrich played Alkmene in Amphitryon by Heinrich v. Kleist, Kassandra in Die Troerinnen nach Euripides, Frau Solness in Baumeister Solness by Ibsen, Emilia in Shakespeare's Othello , Sue in Peggy Picket sees the face of God by Roland Schimmelpfennig , Barbara in Kaspar Hauser Meer by Felicitas Zeller, to name but a few of her numerous roles call. Petra Friedrich also works for film and television. Petra Friedrich teaches acting at the Theaterwerk Albstedt and gives private lessons. She headed the youth theater group ZOFF AG and was a founding member of the theater group IGOR T.

Petra Friedrich has been producing show reels for actors as a writer and director since 2011 .
