Petra Mott (born August 29, 1969 in Lauda ) is a German actress .

Life

Petra Mott has been an actress since she was 13. After completing and training to be a typesetter from 1987 to 1990 at the request of her father , she attended Theaterwerkstatt Mainz eV from 1991 to 1994 , where she trained as an actress.

From 1992 to 1996 she worked at the Lower House in Mainz , the Aachen City Theater and the Mainzer Kammerspiele, among others . Then at various children's theaters and boulevard stages. From 1987 to 2015 she played in the Hemshofschachtel Theater, which her mother Malou Mott runs. There she also directed various productions. She appears on several stages in the Rhine-Neckar triangle. Her repertoire ranges from the boulevard, children's theater, tragedy to musicals. She is a member of the ensemble at the Rhein-Neckar-Theater in Mannheim. Since 2015 she has been a regular guest at the Untieren in Kaiserslautern, where she was part of the Klausi Chronicles .

After smaller TV appearances between 1993 and 2007, such as in Girlfriends , Men are something wonderful and couples (series, 2005), she was seen for the first time in 2016 as a gallery owner in the movie Mannheim, Neuroses Between Rhine and Neckar .

She had her biggest role so far in 2017 in Tatort - Babbeldasch , in which she plays Sarah Fettèr. Since she portrays the daughter of the victim Sophie Fettèr, who is played by Mott's mother Malou, the thriller reflects the real family relationship.

In the Ludwigshafen crime scene "Leonessa" she is introduced as a policewoman Katja Winter, a character who is also continued in the following crime scene: "Among wolves".
