At the Australian Open he reached the quarter-finals in 2014, which he lost to Quentin Halys . In the French Open eighth-finals he was defeated by Andrei Rublev . At Wimbledon , he failed in doubles only in the semi-finals. In the middle of the year he was in 19th place in the junior world rankings.

Among the pros, he first appeared in 2013 on the third-class ITF Future Tour . He didn't win a match there until 2014, then surprisingly achieved his first tournament victory in Sharm el-Sheikh without losing a set. Shortly before the end of the year, another title and a finals followed. In 2015 he won his third title and reached several semi-finals, and also made his first appearances on the higher-class ATP Challenger Tour , so that he made it into the top 500 in the world rankings . There he was defeated by the Serb Dušan Lajović in two sets.

At the beginning of 2018 he is no longer in the world rankings because he can hardly play tournaments due to his studies.
