Petrus Fritze
Petrus Fritze (born December 28, 1584 in Spandau , † March 23, 1648 in Berlin ) was a German-Brandenburg diplomat and lawyer .
Life
Born as the son of the citizen and trader Joachim Fritze and his wife Maria, daughter of the heirloom Christoph Greumel, he first attended the school in his home town. He then began studying law at the University of Frankfurt (Oder) , the University of Wittenberg and the University of Jena . In 1613 he became court and chamber judge, in 1630 he was promoted to president in hunting matters and sat in the spiritual consistory of Brandenburg .
As such, he represented electoral interests at the Upper Saxon district assemblies and electoral collegial assemblies in Regensburg . He also participated in the election of Ferdinand III for Brandenburg . to the emperor and rose afterwards to the imperial court palatinate count. As such, he continued to represent the interests of Brandenburg, for example at the Reichstag in Regensburg in 1640/41 and in 1645 at the peace congress in Osnabrück . There he suffered a stroke and died of the consequences and was buried on April 3, 1648 in Berlin.
Petrus Fritze married Sabine Goldbeck on October 27, 1616. From this marriage the son Joachim Andreas Fritze and four daughters, Anna Sabine Finster, Eva Maria Hoffmann were born. Ideler, Eleonore Fritze and Agnethe Sophie Fritze.
